Job summary
Be responsible for managing all the HR functions such as recruitment, orientation and development of job descriptions.
Job descriptions & requirements
Duties:
- The Head HR would manage their department of over 30 Staff,
- Reporting to the Chief Executive / Director and
- Development of optimum organization staffing and operating structures,
- Appraisals, remuneration and reward strategies,
- Executing the Board’s strategic directives with regard to HR,
- Negotiations with Unions,
- Conflict and grievance management and resolution,
- Disciplinary matters,
- Maintenance of all HR records, statutory compliance, payroll, timekeeping, change management,
- Training needs assessment and developing and managing training programs.
- In addition, will be responsible for all contract employees, their housing, food and welfare benefits, medical records, upkeep of central estate, maintenance of company housing etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The candidate should have a post graduate degree in Human Resource Management,
- At least fifteen (15) years of experience in managing the Human Resources function in a large manufacturing organization.
- Extensive experience of administration, facilities management and welfare activities would be an added advantage.
