By mobilizing volunteers and community partners, Habitat for Humanity Manitoba works with people from all walks of life to build safe, decent, affordable housing for purchase by low-income working families. Habitat for Humanity Winkler-Morden Chapter is looking for Build Volunteers to help with thier current build!
Join us as we build safe, decent, affordable houses for low income families. Our Construction Leaders will guide you with their experience and knowledge, regardless of your level of experience.
Skills Required
Experience is valued and appreciated, but we accept all levels of expertise and will train on site.

• Be 16 years of age or older
• Commit to a minimum one full day of building
• Be able to follow instructions and work independently
• Be able to climb stairs, navigate uneven ground and have good mobility
• Be able to use and understand conversational English
  

Skills Gained/Related Careers:
Assist With Construction-related Tasks As Assigned, Which May Include

• Framing
• Hanging drywall
• Landscaping
• General site preparation and clean-up
  

Age: 16-17, 18-30, 31-54, 55+ Time Commitment:
Daytime
Volunteering Is Flexible And Based On Project Needs

• Individuals who express interest will be added to a volunteer contact list
• When volunteer opportunities become available, invitations will be sent by email
• Volunteers can sign up for dates that fit their availability
