Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Financial management Accounting or a related relevant field Professional qualification such as: ACCA, CMA, CPA or MCIPS) with membership to a professional body is a must.
Over 10 years’ experience in managing funds/grant funding preferably with large and complex donors and knowledge of DFID, ECHO, UN, USG contract and grant compliance requirements.
- Practical knowledge and experience in the grants financial management budgeting and work-plan development, project management, contracts management, partnership management of Bi-lateral and multilateral organisations and government grants. Highly organized person with high level of integrity
Grants Financial planning, monitoring and reporting
Ensure timely and accurate grants financial reports submission to donors and other stakeholders
- Ensure the analysis of grant expenditure for management action to help in monitoring the burn rate for grants and special projects.
Partner Management Financial Analysis, Reporting & Advisory-RH, programs and Leadership
To perform checks and analysis of NR Grant posting and ensure that correcting entries are posted onto the respective grants and trouble shoot entries to identify cause and solution.
- To continuously monitor the BVA and ensure updating the budgets with any agreed changes to them.
Master Data entry and update Systems/tools Development & Oversight
To ensure that all incoming grants are properly and correctly created into SAP as per process guidelines. To ensure that staff update the drives with all new grants in the system.
- To ensure timely update the report/tool for tracking grants entry and closure in SAP and provide progressive weekly updates to HF
