Female Credit Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Mobilize and recruit clients within assigned areas and market segments.
• Conduct field assessments, group formation, loan appraisal, and verification of client information.
• Facilitate loan disbursement, monitor loan performance, and conduct regular follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate records of client files, loan documentation, and repayments.
• Ensure timely collection of loan installments while promoting a positive repayment culture.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while promoting Uzima’s products and services.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to the Branch Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of a Degree in Business Administration, Microfinance, Accounting, Social Sciences, Education, or any related field. A Bachelor's degree is an added advantage.
• Experience in field-based microfinance lending is an added advantage.
• Must be willing to work and travel extensively in rural and peri-urban communities.
• Strong communication, mobilization, and customer relationship management skills.
• High level of integrity, discipline, and results-oriented work ethic.
• Ability to speak Ateso or Kumam and English
• All Interviews will be conducted at the Mbale Regional offices
