Work location: Kampala

Salary: 500,000 – 600,000 UGX per month, paid on time every month

Job Requirements

1. Hold a valid driving license, proficient driving skills with rich driving experience, no major traffic accident records.

2. Familiar with roads in downtown Kampala and suburban areas, know all main roads and side streets in the capital well, able to arrange reasonable routes.

3. Honest, kind, trustworthy, quick-witted, strong sense of time, obedient to arrangements.

4. Keep strict confidentiality of the employer’s schedule and personal affairs, no bad habits.

5. Be available for irregular trips and on-call duties at any time.

Job Responsibilities

1. Be responsible for daily transportation for the employer, including commuting, business meetings, customer visits, factory inspections and other travel arrangements.

2. Deliver documents, small goods and materials as required.

3. Inspect vehicle condition before and after each trip, check fuel, tyres, brakes and lights regularly.

4. Keep the car interior and exterior clean and tidy at all times.

5. Report any vehicle faults or abnormal conditions promptly, and coordinate vehicle maintenance, repair, and insurance matters.

6. Assist with carrying luggage and goods when necessary.

7. Plan driving routes reasonably to avoid traffic jams and save travel time.

8. Complete other temporary errands and tasks assigned by the employer.
