Established Building Surveying & Certification Business for Sale
Are you innovative, adaptive and seeking autonomy as Director / Building Surveyor with experience in the NCC regulatory framework?
Due to the business owners planned retirement in 2026, HBC Building Certification is now preparing a succession plan for the purpose of transferring company ownership.
After 13 years practice and with a growing client portfolio there is wide opportunity for the company to expand further commercial business interests in the Canberra precincts and surrounding south-east NSW region.
Summary
Staff:
Our staff members include 1 Building Surveyor (level1) 1 Building Surveyor (level2) I Cadet Building Surveyor (level 3) and 1 administration coordinator.
Knowledge And Skills
HBC have an excellent knowledge of stakeholder’s interests regarding construction practice for work subject to compliance scrutiny. Compliance determinations in the ACT and NSW includes plan check with NCC, Australian Standards and DA code applications.
The company continues to pursue excellent analytical and conceptual skills, leveraging technical knowledge to proactively identify trends, address risk, implement effective interventions and solutions and produce detailed technical reports. Our staff are proud to demonstrate ability to adapt new procedures and build strong stakeholder relations including open dialogue to guide service delivery expectations.

Qualifications
Currently Registered/Licensed: NSW, ACT and Qld
Procedures And Operational Tasks
HBC has a fully integrated electronic task-oriented e-communication system with full time IT support from Ignite cyber security solutions based in Melbourne. HBC incorporates VOIP within the communication system.
