CREATIVE LEAD — CREATIVE PRODUCER & VIDEO DIRECTOR
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Salary: Up to UGX 500,000 per month
Work arrangement: On-site
We are looking for someone who can turn ideas into videos people want to watch.
You will work closely with our founder, Hakiza Ronald. Your job is to help him look and sound his best on camera, and turn recording sessions into strong, ready-to-publish content.
You will take charge of preparing stories, planning shoots, directing filming, and finishing the videos.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research interesting stories and suggest fresh content ideas.
• Help write clear scripts with strong openings.
• Plan each shoot and prepare what is needed.
• Guide the founder on how to deliver his lines and perform on camera.
• Set up lighting, sound, and camera angles for good-quality recordings.
• Direct and manage filming sessions.
• Edit videos and turn one recording session into several pieces of content.
• Deliver finished content ready for publishing.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Someone who can take an idea and carry it through to a finished video.
• A good understanding of storytelling, emotion, suspense, and humour.
• An understanding of Ugandan audiences and what gets their attention.
• Practical skills in filming, lighting, sound, and video editing.
• Confidence to guide someone on camera and suggest better ways to tell a story.
• Someone who takes initiative, prepares well, and meets deadlines.
A degree is not required. Show us what you can create.
