About the Role
MAAD is looking for a creative, social-first Community Manager who lives and breathes digital culture. If you're always ahead of trends, understand what makes people stop scrolling, and know how to turn audiences into engaged communities, we want to hear from you.
You'll be responsible for managing multiple client brands across social media, creating engaging content, growing online communities, and delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling monthly content calendars aligned to client objectives.
- Create, publish and schedule engaging content across Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat and emerging platforms.
- Manage online communities by responding to comments, messages and conversations in a timely and professional manner.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns in collaboration with creative and media teams.
- Cover live events through real-time content, Stories, Reels and video.
- Monitor trends, cultural moments and competitor activity to keep brands relevant.
- Use social listening and analytics tools to track performance and provide actionable monthly reports.
- Present content calendars, reports and recommendations while managing client expectations.
- Leverage AI tools to improve content creation, research and productivity.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years' experience in social media or community management, preferably within an agency.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Strong eye for design and visual content.
- Deep understanding of internet culture, trends and platform best practices.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite, TikTok, X, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn, analytics and social listening tools.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and other content creation platforms.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines.
