CAD Officer
Job descriptions & requirements
To design, draft and develop accurate computer-aided design (CAD) drawings and models to support UEDCL’s engineering projects and operations. The CAD officer is also responsible for maintaining an accurate and updated CAD database while ensuring that all the designs are efficient, accurate, functional and meet both practical and regulatory requirements.
Academic Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or a related field
Experience
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a CAD environment, preferably in an electrical engineering environment
•Knowledge of substation design is an added advantage.
•CAD Design and Drafting, Create, update, and maintain technical drawings and schematics for electrical distribution projects.
•Collaboration, work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings meet
design specifications and standards.
•Document Control, Maintain an organized database of all CAD drawings and related
documentation for easy retrieval.
•Quality Assurance, Review and validate drawings for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to UEDCL standards.
•Technical Support, Provide CAD-related technical support and training to team members as needed
