Reports to: Senior Biomedical Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain up-to-date inventory registers and asset tags for all medical and biomedical equipment.
Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on clinical equipment across the facility.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on malfunctioning biomedical machines.
Plan, specify spare parts, and estimate cost budgets for equipment servicing and repairs.
Carry out equipment testing, acceptance inspections, and safety calibrations on medical devices.
Conduct routine servicing and cleaning of specialized medical machinery.
Person/Job Specifications:
Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or Medical Equipment Technology from a recognized institution.
