Required Qualifications
Diploma in Legal Practice – Law Development Centre;
An honor’s Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognized institution
Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court with a valid practicing certificate.
1. Assist in the conduct of legal-related research;
2. Participate in compiling relevant recorded cases in courts of law;
3. Assists in filing Court documents;
4. Represent the Directorate in Evaluation Committee meetings and Bid openings;
5. Draft Memoranda, Articles of Association and floating Companies;
6. Assist in following up with Court matters, fix cases for hearing and keep the Legal Officers updated of their schedules;
7. Assist in identifying Law reports, Legislation, Books and other reading materials for the Legal Unit Library;
8. Keep records of all Council Policies, Statutes, Rules and Regulations;
9. Assist in interviewing and collecting information necessary to draft pleadings;
10.Liaise with External Lawyers, University Secretary and Legal Office on legal matters.
