Assistant Lecturer - Department of Anaesthesia

 Key Duties & Responsibilities

1.    Teach, examine and grade students;

2.    Supervise research for students;

3.    Mentor junior staff;

4.    Conduct research and community outreach activities;

5.    Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;

6.    Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department

 Required Qualifications

1. Master of Medicine (MMed) in Anaesthesia or an equivalent Postgraduate specialist qualification from a recognized institution;
   
2. At least an upper second Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or its equivalent from a recognized University.
   
3. Be registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC) and possess a valid Annual Practicing License (APL).
