Job Duties:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including books of accounts,
- reconciliations, and periodic financial statements for clients and the business.
- Handle tax compliance by preparing and filing returns, responding to queries from the tax
- authorities and ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
- Provide financial reports and advisory support to clients and management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a CPA/ACCA qualification.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience in a consulting firm, audit firm, or busy finance environment.
- Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax laws and accounting software.
