About NURTURE AFRICAN YOUTH NETWORK(NAYNET)
TPO Uganda is an indigenous national NGO established in 1992 to respond to the emergency refugee crisis in northwestern Uganda by providing psychosocial support services to refugees. Over time, TPO Uganda has expanded its reach and services, now offering a broad range of development services across the country, beyond just psychosocial support.
TPO Uganda’s vision is “A society where vulnerable and other marginalized people enjoy mental health, social and economic well-being and lead harmonious, mutually supportive, and productive lives.” Our mission, as a rights-based NGO, is to support and collaborate with local communities, civil society organizations, and the government to address the social protection, psychological, and mental health needs of vulnerable populations.
