We are MGP — a lean, AI-powered team operating across multiple businesses in the US: Roofing, Mortgage Lending, Property Management, Renovations, Grooming, Supplements, and Online Services.
We are looking for outstanding people in Uganda to be the voice of our company and our operations engine. This is not a basic call center job. This is not a typical VA role. This is a long-term performance partnership for someone sharp on the phone, hungry to close deals, disciplined with follow-up, and comfortable using modern AI tools.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Phone Sales & Business Development
- Call and follow up with warm leads from our websites, ads, and referrals — people who already showed interest in us
- Qualify prospects and guide them from "interested" to "booked appointment" to "closed deal" — scripts and full training provided
- Use WhatsApp, SMS, and email to send reminders, links, and follow-ups
- Suggest ideas to improve customer service, operations, and close rates
Phone Support & Customer Contact
- Answer incoming calls with a clear, confident, friendly tone
- Return missed calls quickly — make every customer feel heard and helped
- Confirm appointments, explain documents needed (mortgages, loans, roofing), keep customers informed — training provided
- Escalate complex issues to the CEO with a clear summary
Leads, Routes & Daily Operations
- Log every lead and conversation into CRM/Google Sheets — nothing gets lost
- Build daily routes for our US field teams (roof inspections, property visits, estimates)
- Track every lead's status: called, booked, visited, quoted, closed, or lost-
- General Admin Tasks
AI Tools & Systems
- Use Claude Max, Perplexity Pro, and other tools to draft follow-up messages, summarize call notes, and build checklists
- Help improve scripts, templates, and processes over time — your input matters
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Based in Uganda with a stable, professional work-from-home setup
- At least 2 years of experience in phone sales, telesales, customer service, or business development
- Clear, neutral, confident English — comfortable and persuasive on calls
- Experienced with Google Sheets, CRM tools, WhatsApp, and email in a real work setting
- Strong with numbers, details, and follow-up — nothing slips through the cracks
- Reliable internet — minimum 10 Mbps (speed test screenshot required)
- Backup power — inverter, generator, or solar — non-negotiable
- High ownership mindset — you take responsibility, want to grow long-term with one company.
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM EAT (Kampala time), including a 1-hour break.
Saturday: Up to 4 hours for urgent follow-ups only — many Saturdays are fully off when work is complete.
COMPENSATION
Probation (first month):
Base salary: UGX 550,000 per month
After Probation (performance-based):
Base salary: UGX 650,000 – 750,000 per month
Commission — this is where you earn big:
- UGX 41,000 for every deal you actively support to a successful close
- Close 10 deals/month → earn approximately UGX 960,000 total
- Close 15 deals/month → earn approximately UGX 1,165,000 total
- Close 20 deals/month → earn approximately UGX 1,370,000+ total
- Top performers earn UGX 1,000,000 – 1,500,000+ per month
