We are looking for a
Programme Manager to lead and deliver complex, cross-functional programmes in a high-performance engineering environment. Your focus will be on enabling the engineering teams to operate at their highest potential, translating strategic objectives into actionable programme plans, optimising resource allocation across multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and ensuring that innovation, quality, and performance targets are consistently met. This role will optimise programme processes, resource allocation, and risk management to enable the team to operate efficiently and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead strategic programme planning, aligning initiatives with organisational and engineering objectives.
- Develop frameworks to assess the technical and performance impact of programme initiatives.
- Manage programme portfolios, prioritising projects based on technical complexity, performance impact, and return on investment.
- Allocate and optimise resources across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.
- Establish robust processes for programme delivery, including risk management, issue resolution, and change control.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on engineering programme delivery.
- Monitor progress against programme plans, reallocate resources, and provide accurate reporting on performance.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in programme management tools and engineering processes.
- Chair and contribute to programme review meetings to ensure alignment across functions.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration, accountability, and high performance within engineering teams.
- Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and methods to enhance programme delivery.
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager in Formula 1, elite motorsport, or high-performance engineering.
- Strong understanding of programme management best practices, frameworks, and tools.
- Experience managing complex, technically challenging engineering projects with tight deadlines.
- Commercial awareness, including full responsibility for budget management, profit and loss (P&L) oversight, and return on investment (ROI) assessment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Ability to prioritise effectively, balancing competing technical and strategic objectives.
- Resilient, results-oriented, and able to operate under high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to changing priorities and unexpected challenges.
