Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide secretarial services to the Sub-Contracts Committees;
2. Liaise with end-users and compiles all procurement requirements for the College/ Units;
3. Guide suppliers on procurement procedures;
4. Verify documentation relating to procurement and organize the documentation for easy use by all interested parties;
5. Preparing periodic reports for the Contracts Committee and PPDA;
6. Liaise with the Accounts to ensure availability of procurement funds and timely payments to suppliers/Consultants/ Contractors.
Required Qualifications
i. Masters’ Degree in Procurement or Purchasing, Supplies and Chain Management.
ii. A professional qualification in Procurement or Purchasing such as the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS).
iii. An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement or Purchasing from a recognized institution.
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience at Assistant Officer level.

3. Ability to build, lead and work with teams;
4. Computer literacy;
5. Interpersonal and communication skills;
6. Quick judgment and decision making;
7. Ability to initiate change.
