Montessori Teacher

Company Description Sadhguru School Uganda is a non-profit school in rural Uganda, dedicated to offering balanced, global education to children from low-income families. Our approach to education focuses on nurturing young people to become compassionate changemakers who improve their communities and the wider world.

Role Description The Montessori Teacher is responsible for guiding children's learning and development within a carefully prepared Montessori environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and respect. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the classroom, presenting Montessori materials, observing and documenting each child's progress, supporting daily routines, and collaborating with colleagues and families to promote each child's holistic development.

Qualifications

A background in Montessori training or practice is preferred but not a requirement. Above all, we seek individuals who are committed to continuous learning, child wellbeing, and embodying the principles of inclusive, learner-centred education.
