Our client, Kayunga Regional Referral Hospital, (KRRH) a Public Health Facility under the Ministry of Health, is mandated to provide comprehensive, preventive, curative, and referral health services to the population of Kayunga District and surrounding areas, in partnership with Makerere University Walter Reed Program (MUWRP) intend to recruit qualified personnel on short term contracts to support their Public Health Department

Salary Scale: U4
Reports to: Senior Medical Records Officer
Location: Kayunga 

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Records and Information Management (BRIM), Library and Information Science (BLIS), or Records and Archives Management (BRAM) from a recognized university or institution.

Duties and Responsibilities 
1. Plan, budget, manage, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate all medical records activities in the hospital.
2. Manage and account for allocated resources.
3. Compile and submit periodic reports to the Senior Medical Records Officer.
4. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
5. Ensure patient records are received, documented, classified, and stored properly.
6. Periodically audit records and record systems.
7. Maintain confidentiality and safety of records.
8. Provide patient records/information to authorized persons and control access by unauthorized persons.
9. Ensure essential equipment and supplies are available for records management.
