Job Description
Drive the delivery and effective implementation of the lubricant’s operations manual for efficient lubricants business operations.
• Execute analysis on available business data and extract actionable insights for improved delivery on Lubricants business KPIs.
• Execute business pricing and portfolio strategy and tactics to deliver on business objectives.
• Support customer service process (from order to delivery) to ensure improved customer satisfaction and on time and in full product delivery in line with business target.
Dimensions:
• Support customer product supply on-time and in-full (Office Based Account Management).
• OPEX Management.
• Lubricants supply and operations planning delivery (Demand plan and forecasting).
• Pricing management.
• Portfolio management.
• Business analysis.
• Business reporting as required.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Support sales team to coordinate orders for timely delivery to the customer in line with the customer service level agreements (Office based account management)
• Execute business reporting and analysis requirements in line with the Lubricants business operations manual
• Executing lubricants portfolio reviews as per business schedule and implementing portfolio review action plans on time and in full (including new product introductions and product withdrawals).
• Execute lubricants pricing actions in line with the lubricants pricing excellence framework (including coordinating and support price discounts, updating price maps, tracking product weighted average costs, supporting business price adjustments).
• Track business operating expenses and support lubricants team to deliver business objectives within the business operating budget.
• Support lubricants supply and operations planning process (including leading demand review meetings) to ensure delivery of lubricants business forecast accuracy objectives.
• Collaborate with sales teams across all lubricants sales channels and support with data based actionable insights for effective solutions where business challenges are identified.
Key Challenges:
• Delivering timely and accurate analysis/information/insights to support business decisions.
• Coordinating actions across different sales channels (Retail, Indirect Channel and business to business)
• Prioritizing and scheduling critical actions in the face of the daily pressing business needs.
• Leveraging software to turn around reports efficiently.
• The need to speed to learn and flexibility to quickly understand and act on broad spectrum of business needs (requires growth mindset).
• Collaborating across teams and stakeholders including finance team, supply and distribution team, sales, customer service, customers.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:
• Bachelor’s degree in business/Marketing/Accounting/Statistics/Economics/Engineering or related field.
• Any additional qualification/certification in sales, marketing or business analysis is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, business information analysis or related fields.
• Collaborator/team player.
• Strong analytical capability and advanced MS Excel skills (and related software).
• Great presentation skills.
• Problem solving skills (creative and a critical thinker)
• Possesses a growth mindset.
