Adult Speech and Language Therapist – Band 7
The Glassgreen Centre, Elgin
Hours: 29.16 hours per week
Fixed-Term Contract (9 months). Fewer hours considered.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and innovative Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly and supportive team working in the Moray area of Grampian. This post is to provide fixed term maternity cover.
The post covers a mixed adult caseload, both within the community and providing an acute ‘reach in’ service to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin. Working in small team across a rural area, the post holder manages a varied caseload across a broad range of adult acquired presentations. The post includes opportunities for supervising others and development of leadership skills. Dysphagia trained candidates with any level of experience are invited to contact for informal discussion should they be interested in exploring options for a fixed-term opportunity in Moray.
Our team has a strong commitment to working in partnership with clients, their families, other professionals and the wider community with a strong focus on developing capacity for self-management.
Moray offers a unique opportunity in that we are a small team based in a central location which enables regular informal as well as formal support. We are committed to staff development through joint working opportunities, access to specialist advice, formalised supervision and training.
