Functional Business Analyst

Metaphor Services is looking for an experienced Functional Business Analyst with strong hands-on Retail Banking platform experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in at least one of these areas:
🔹 Consumer Lending
🔹 Teller / Payments
🔹 Sales & Service / Account Opening
Key Responsibilities
• Gather and document functional requirements.
• Create functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mappings.
• Understand and document end-to-end retail banking processes.
• Own business UAT, including test cases, execution, and defect triage.
• Work closely with developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Use SQL for data and transaction validation.
• Support banking platform implementations, conversions, and enhancements.
Required Skills
✅ Hands-on Retail Banking experience
✅ Consumer Lending, Teller/Payments, or Sales & Service/Account Opening
✅ Strong requirements & UAT experience
✅ Working knowledge of SQL
✅ Ability to explain end-to-end banking processes
✅ Experience working with development teams and/or vendors

⭐ Core banking conversion / merger experience
