Shared_Studios is seeking a dynamic and organized Programming Production Manager.


You will be responsible for planning, overseeing and ensuring successful delivery of innovative and transformative global conversations each week, both virtually and across our network of life-sized portals hosted in communities all around the world. 

At Shared_Studios, we amplify inspiring voices and bring together diverse perspectives for transformative conversations that challenge participants to see and engage the world differently. We host moving encounters between people in different geographic and cultural contexts in order to inspire, educate, and nurture a global and inclusive mindset. 


In this role, you will work closely with our programming team, partner organizations, and global network to deliver stunning live and pre-recorded virtual encounters highlighting inspiring artists, entrepreneurs, changemakers, and community leaders from around the world. We are looking for a masterful coordinator and conductor who can bring structure, order, and predictability to our workflow, drive the team to great results, and “fly ahead of the plane” to foresee and avoid issues and challenges before they arise.


Key responsibilities

  • Work with partnership leads to develop project and production plans for major activations, including key milestones, detailed timelines, and assignment of responsibilities;

  • Own the production timeline, and plan, organize, delegate and communicate workflows for multiple events and sometimes tight timelines;

  • Coordinate a cross-functional and global team to ensure accountability and successful execution;

  • Anticipate, mitigate and manage risks such as guest management, unforeseen delays and technical difficulties;

  • Analyze and improve team processes and practices to ensure team is working effectively and set up for success;

  • Track and manage project budgets; and

  • Bring energy and enthusiasm and contribute to a supportive, challenging and high-performing team culture

Requirements

  • Self motivated, highly organized, technically savvy and a strong problem solver.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to anticipate and manage issues before they arise.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Passionate about people and cultures, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong proficiency in written English. Additional languages and global experience are desirable.

  • Globally-minded with fluency in cross-cultural situations and comfort engaging with people from all walks of life.

  • 3-5 years minimum experience in demanding roles related to project, event and/or production management. Additional professional and leadership experience is highly desirable.

This is a demanding and fast-paced role on an ambitious team. You will be central to the delivery and growth of a unique initiative that will reshape the way individuals and communities connect and engage globally. The Shared_Studios team works remotely from around the world and gathers in person several times per year. This is a remote position and you will work closely with colleagues across more than 20 countries. You may be based in the Americas, Europe, Africa, or Middle East and will require access to a strong and consistent internet connection.
