We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electro-Mechanic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment and machinery.

Job Description/Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma. A technical degree in mechanics or engineering from a trade or vocational school is of advantage.
  • At least 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in the industry
  • Previous management or supervisory experience 


Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in machinery, equipment, and systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliable operation of equipment.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and electronic components, such as sensors, switches, and control systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in motors, conveyors, pumps, and other mechanical components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to guide repairs and installations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Conduct tests and inspections to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical codes and regulations.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Electro-Mechanic Technician.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control panels.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems and components.
  • Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and other control systems.
  • Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools for both electrical and mechanical work.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in electrical and mechanical work.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Certification in electrical or mechanical technology is a plus.
  •  Advantage if worked on the following e

    quipment: LIEBHERR Crane, TEREX Crane, TEREX DEMAG Crane, GENIE (Manlift) and Caterpillar (Forklift).
