Digital Marketing Specialist

We're Hiring: Content Specialist

Obato, a green coffee sourcing and exporting company based in Uganda, is looking for a creative, organized, and eager-to-learn individual to create and manage content for our LinkedIn page and blog.

Key Responsibilities:

- Write and edit English content for LinkedIn and the company blog.

- Design social media posts and carousels, and edit simple videos.

- Publish and manage content on LinkedIn and WordPress.

- Execute the content calendar and monitor content performance.

- Grow Obato's LinkedIn audience, increase content reach, and improve engagement.

Requirements

- Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

- Hands-on experience with design tools, basic video editing, and content publishing.

- Ability to effectively use AI tools and critically review AI-generated content.

- Creativity, attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work independently.

- Willingness and ability to learn about the coffee trade, digital marketing, and B2B business.

- Availability to work full-time, on-site at Obato's office in Kampala, Uganda.

Previous experience in the coffee industry or digital marketing is not required but would be an advantage.
