Job Description/Requirements

Superside is looking for a multi-faceted Creative Director and Service Leader for Motion Design within the realm of advertising and marketing.


You’ll help define our customer offering in this service area with ground-breaking solutions that disrupt the creative landscape. Your deep expertise in Motion Design will contribute to delivering scalable creative solutions for brands such as Meta, Amazon, Salesforce and Red Bull.


Reporting to our VP Specialist Services, you’ll lead the commercial development of our Motion Design category, manage a team of creatives to deliver exceptional client work and oversee all creative output in this exciting field.

Motion Design is one of our most in-demand services and we need to continue to evolve our offering, introducing innovation through new tools and pipelines whilst maintaining top quality output for our customers and delivering in a refreshingly hassle-free way. This role requires someone who is up to the challenge of rethinking how Motion Design can be offered at scale by making smart bets and building new ways of delivering progressive work. This calls for someone entrepreneurial with a future-forward mindset. 
What You'll Do
    • Define the products & services Superside should be offering to remain competitive as a provider of Motion Design services
    • Generate service growth through innovative, strategic thinking with a focus on business results—evaluate and prioritize based on the best revenue potential
    • Build required skills, materials and processes within Superside to enable us to sell and deliver top quality creative work to our customers in Motion Design 
    • Manage and develop a team of amazing design & technical talent to deliver best in class work
    • Provide high-quality training, upskilling and mentoring to a globally distributed team from different backgrounds to apply to a wide range of global brands
    • Oversee AI transformation of Motion Design services and pipelines
    • Collaborate with other departments to create new opportunities and troubleshoot roadblocks to growth
    • Stay ahead of the curve by actively exploring and researching new creative technology in the realms of Motion Design
What You'll Need to Succeed
    • Experience in designing, operationalising and upskilling Motion design departments or teams, with a strong portfolio of work
    • Deep expertise in Motion Design, including experience with emergent AI platforms that support the Motion Design pipeline
    • Solid understanding of how to best utilize Motion creative across digital platforms & ability to advise customer on how to maximize its impact
    • A solid commercial perspective, and the ability to evaluate and prioritize strictly based on return on investment
    • Data-driven, structured and action-oriented. You get things done and you measure your impact
    • Proven results as a leader in an international top-tier, fast-paced and high-growth environment 
    • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and group discussion abilities
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects and customer accounts, delivering top-quality creative work and processes
    • Passion for mentoring and training people towards excellence and success

Hiring Process
-Meet and greet: 45-minute introductory call with a Talent Partner to learn more about Superside and your experience. No need for formal prep beforehand!
-Meet and greet with hiring manager: This is a chance to speak with your potential manager to find out more about the role, department, as more indepth questions and more
-Assessment: This is your time to shine! The assessment is designed to test your customer management, project management and creative abilities. You’ll usually have between 24h and 48h to complete this step.
-Technical Interview: a 45-minute conversation with your potential Team Leader! You’ll have the opportunity to discuss your assessment performance, dive deeper into your past experiences and also complete a simulation. We always set aside some time for your question so don’t hesitate to prep some! We want to make sure we’re the right place for you as much as you’re the right fit for us!
-Final Interview: An interview with other team members to make sure we’re the right place for you as much as you’re the right fit for us!
-Offer: At this stage, it is clear we want you! We’ll make sure you want to join us too. No need for formal prep beforehand!
