Construction Site Quality Assurance

JOB PURPOSE:

The main purpose is to verify that all aspects of the construction process comply with the project specifications, approved and certified drawings, building codes, and safety regulations.

We at Fabrication Systems (U) Ltd deal in Structural fabrication, Aluminum & Glass, General metal fabrication, signage, Civil & Turnkey works which form a major part of our product list. FSUL is the exclusive distributor for Otis Lifts, Ace Equipment, Greaves Generators, Jindal & Servotec stabilizers, Indoair Compressors and Safex Over Head Cranes in East Africa and has a partnership with Bohler Welding to supply the Ugandan market with high-quality welding consumables.

Duty Station:      Head Office (regular site visits, in Uganda)

Reporting to:    Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning and Preparation like reviewing project documents, developing inspection procedures, scheduling site visits and inspections.
• Quality Management and Assurance by analyzing inspection data, recommending, tracking and monitoring corrective actions.
• Reviewing documentation like plans, and specifications while monitoring and tracking the progress of work
• Availing regular reports and findings with solutions to PM and UH
• Ensuring safety compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2-3 years of Experience in Turnkey structures is an added advantage.
