Candidates must hold a Pennsylvania certificate as a School Counselor. This vacancy requires at minimum an Elementary School Counselor certification. Candidates with additional certifications; knowledge in the use of technology to enhance student learning; demonstrated organizational skills and commitment to follow through on tasks; training and experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating functional behavior assessment and positive behavior & intervention programs; and training and experience in collecting and analyzing student data, including curriculum-based assessments, and implementing progress monitoring systems are strongly desired.
The full-time position is under the Richland Education Association’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, with the starting salary negotiable based on experience and exceptional circumstances in accordance with Board Policy 304.1 - Credit for Salary Placement. The position includes sick days, personal days, emergency days, other appropriate leaves, and full healthcare benefits, including vision and dental.
