The Nhinze Children’s Disability Training and Advocacy Network (Nhinze-CDTAN) is looking for a
passionate, committed, and results-oriented Resource Mobilization Volunteer to join our
team and contribute to our mission of creating meaningful opportunities and improving the lives
of children, persons with disabilities, families, and communities.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about fundraising, partnerships,
community development, and social impact and would like to gain valuable experience while
making a difference.
About the Role
As a Resource Mobilization Volunteer, you will work closely with the Nhinze-CDTAN team to
identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, support fundraising initiatives, and mobilize
financial and in-kind resources to strengthen our programs and expand our impact.
Key Responsibilities
Identify potential funding opportunities from donors, foundations, NGOs, government
programs, corporate organizations, and private-sector partners.
Support the development and implementation of effective resource mobilization and
fundraising strategies.
Assist in preparing compelling grant proposals, concept notes, expressions of interest,
and partnership proposals.
Build and maintain positive relationships with donors, partners, stakeholders, and
potential supporters.
Support the mobilization of both financial and in-kind resources, including equipment,
materials, services, and donations.
Maintain and update donor and partner databases and track fundraising targets,
applications, and progress.
Support fundraising campaigns, communication, and visibility initiatives that increase
awareness of Nhinze-CDTAN's work.
Contribute ideas and innovative approaches for expanding Nhinze-CDTAN's funding base and
partnerships.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about social impact, community development, disability inclusion, and
supporting vulnerable communities.
Self-motivated, proactive, creative, and willing to learn.
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Interested in fundraising, grant writing, partnership development, and donor
engagement.
Able to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experienced in volunteering, community engagement, fundraising, communications,
NGO or project work is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
