Role Description The Business Development Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Portal. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and supporting the growth of Info-Code’s ICT and business advisory services. Day-to-day tasks include researching markets, developing proposals, preparing presentations, and coordinating meetings with prospective and existing clients. The Business Development Officer will collaborate with internal teams to align service offerings with client needs, follow up on leads, and support contract negotiations. The role also involves monitoring performance of business development initiatives, providing regular reports, and contributing to strategic planning to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong New Business Development skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and opportunity assessment.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and a good understanding of Finance to interpret data, prepare basic financial projections, and support business cases.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create clear proposals and deliver persuasive presentations.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage client expectations, respond to inquiries promptly, and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, ICT, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in consultancy, ICT services, or business advisory environments is an added advantage.
• Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, CRM systems) and comfort engaging clients in both formal and informal settings is beneficial.
