Tuk Tuk rider

Key Responsibilities

·         - Safely and efficiently deliver tile adhesives and grouts to customers using a company-assigned tuk tuk.

·         - Ensure accurate loading and offloading of products according to delivery notes and invoices.

·         - Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical condition of the tuk tuk.

·         - Collect and submit delivery confirmations and receipts to the Operations Office.

·         - Maintain proper delivery logs and records.

·         - Communicate effectively with customers and the Sales team regarding delivery schedules.

·         - Report any delays, mechanical issues, or customer concerns promptly.

·         - Uphold the company’s image and values by being polite, professional, and presentable at all times.

·         - Assist in warehouse operations and loading when required.

Qualifications and Experience

·         - Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent.

·         - Valid riding permit with class  for (Tuk Tuk) endorsement.

·         - Minimum of 1 year experience riding a tuk tuk or similar delivery vehicle.

·         - Familiarity with local routes and traffic laws.

·         - Experience in delivering construction materials is an added advantage.

Key Competencies

·         - Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·         - Strong time management and reliability.

·         - Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

·         - Ability to work under minimal supervision.

·         - Trustworthy and responsible with company goods.

Working Conditions

·         - Field-based role involving frequent travel within designated delivery areas.

·         - May require early morning or late deliveries depending on demand.

·         - Physical lifting and loading/unloading of materials may be required.
