Key Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will provide recruiting coordination and sourcing support to Talent Acquisition Recruiters and Talent Acquisition Leaders to shorten the teamâs time-to-fill for recruitment processes with effectiveness. Their tasks include but are not limited to:
Scheduling interviews, screening and vetting candidates Cataloguing and retrieving candidate information. Assist in developing talent pipelines for assigned portfolios, especially hard-to-fill and mission-critical roles.The person who takes on this role has a strong interest in a career in Talent Acquisition. The person can expect to receive continual learning and coaching while serving in this role.Â
Must demonstrate aptitude with adequate training, the ability to perform the following tasks:
Coordinates and schedules panel interviews and hiring manager 1:1 interviews. Detailed screening of candidates, including rank-ordering, and scheduling to save recruiters time Sourcing for quality candidates Collecting phone/call references for candidates Professionally handles confidential and sensitive information to ensure candidate anonymity Serves as an articulate and knowledgeable spokesperson for WVI from both a ministry and policy perspective when speaking with potential candidates and referral sources Respond to candidate inquires both by phone and e-mail Send out Customer Satisfaction Surveys to Hiring Managers, New Hires, and Candidates, and generate reports as needed for the TA Director and the TA team leaders Gather information from recruiter shortlists, interview performance feedback, talent review meetings, leadership development meeting debriefs on candidates we want to add on talent pipelines. The person in this role will determine which candidates should be added to talent pipelines and make recommendations to the Recruiter on which candidates should be considered for future roles. Knowledge Cataloguing and Management; able to quickly identify viable candidates from past searches, saving recruiter time in developing a candidate list for a role Collaborate with recruiter, the Talent Management team, and hiring managers on candidate data relating to internal and external talent within portfolios Partner with the Workforce Planning team and teams of the assign portfolios to track HIPOâs contract end dates to enhance retention conversationRequired Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Knowledgeable in recruitment processes Understanding of applicant tracking systems Ability to fill in for Talent Acquisition Recruiters and Sourcing Specialists as needed. Ability to develop rapports with candidates and referral sources. Ability to multi-task projects and priorities in an organised and adaptable manner. Professionally handles confidential and sensitive information and inquiries, both verbally and in writing. Excellent organizing, planning, implementing and coordinating skills. High attention to details. Mature Christian who models Christian behaviours in engaging with others. Social Media savvy e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoints, MS Teams,) Zoom, and Skype. Requires Bachelorâs degree or equivalent of 5 years of on the job training in office administration and/or customer service. Excellent verbal and written skills in English Detailed screening of candidates, including rank-ordering Professional phone screening interviews for candidates Sourcing for quality candidates Collecting phone references for candidates. Aptitude for Knowledge Management; able to quickly identify viable candidates from past searches, saving recruiter time in developing a candidate list for a role Can serve as an articulate and knowledgeable spokesperson for WVI from both a ministry and policy perspective when speaking with potential candidates and referral sources Strong analytical, problem-solving time management, negotiation, and administrative skills Certification in Internet Recruiting and Sourcing (preferably through Social Talent) or SHRMImportant Safety Tips
