Job Description/Requirements
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to expand and manage our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) business in the Congo and South Sudan markets. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of these markets, a robust customer network, and the ability to drive sales targets while ensuring sustainable brand growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Development and Expansion
- Identify potential customers, partners, and distribution channels in the Congo and South Sudan markets.
- Develop and execute market expansion plans and sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Participate in and organize local promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and build long-term partnerships.
- Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
Market Research and Analysis
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to provide actionable insights.
- Adjust sales strategies based on market research to maintain a competitive edge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of products and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in resolving operational issues in the market and optimize processes.
Reporting and Documentation
- Submit timely sales reports, customer feedback, and market updates.
- Analyze sales data and provide recommendations for improvement to management.
Qualifications
Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector, with prior experience in Congo or South Sudan markets preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local business environments, regulations, cultures, and consumer preferences.
Skills Requirements
- Exceptional sales and negotiation skills with the ability to develop new clients effectively.
- Strong market research and data analysis capabilities to support decision-making.
- Proficiency in using office software (e.g., MS Office) and CRM tools is an advantage.
