We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to expand and manage our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) business in the Congo and South Sudan markets. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of these markets, a robust customer network, and the ability to drive sales targets while ensuring sustainable brand growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Development and Expansion

  • Identify potential customers, partners, and distribution channels in the Congo and South Sudan markets.
  • Develop and execute market expansion plans and sales strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Participate in and organize local promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and build long-term partnerships.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.

Market Research and Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to provide actionable insights.
  • Adjust sales strategies based on market research to maintain a competitive edge.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of products and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues in the market and optimize processes.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Submit timely sales reports, customer feedback, and market updates.
  • Analyze sales data and provide recommendations for improvement to management.

Qualifications

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector, with prior experience in Congo or South Sudan markets preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local business environments, regulations, cultures, and consumer preferences.

Skills Requirements

  • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills with the ability to develop new clients effectively.
  • Strong market research and data analysis capabilities to support decision-making.
  • Proficiency in using office software (e.g., MS Office) and CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English
