Job Description BuuPass works with transport operators to provide digital solutions that seamlessly facilitate convenient and reliable movement for commuters. We work with bus, shuttle, train and flight operators to create seamless booking solutions in Kenya & Uganda. So for BuuPass has processed over 8M tickets and some of the key clients we work with include Kenya Railways, Easycoach. Modern Coast, Climax, Prestige Shuttles etc. We have Divine Coach, Momento & Mega Bus in UgandaThe Opportunity:We’re looking for a highly motivated and productivity-centred candidate to join our team. You will be working in an autonomous, agile environment with a small team that values collaboration, learning, and sharing. Responsibilities:• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by bus operators in a timely and efficient manner• Provide technical support to bus operators through various channels such as onsite, email, phone, chat, and remote desktop connection.• Install, configure, and maintain software applications and hardware systems for bus operators• Provide training and assistance to bus operators in the use of software applications and hardware systems.• Develop and maintain technical documentation for software applications and hardware systems.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and sales teams to ensure successful implementation of software applications and hardware systems.• Communicate effectively with bus operators to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with bus operators and cross-functional teams.• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Android.
