Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to maintain quality standards.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Oversee logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing.
  • Lead and mentor supply chain staff to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. 
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics is preferred, with demonstrated success in leading projects and teams


Technical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Supervise and lead supply chain staff to achieve operational objectives and targets.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement


Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis and forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with vendors and internal teams
  • Leadership abilities to manage and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Problem-solving skills to address supply chain disruptions
  • Knowledge of inventory management techniques and best practices
  • Understanding of logistics and transportation management
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and production, to ensure alignment on schedules and demands.
  • Oversee logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing, to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Prepare and manage budgets related to supply chain activities and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the supply chain


Reporting Structure:

The Senior Office engineer will report directly to the operation manager and collaborate closely with general staff/ employees and other members of the company’s team.
