Job Description:
❖ Expertise and Knowledge Sharing:
- Digital Skills Expertise: Provide extensive knowledge in digital skills education, including digital literacy, coding, online safety, and the integration of technology in learning.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with curriculum developers to create and refine digital skills programs that are up-to-date, practical, and engaging.
❖ Program Development and Enhancement:
- Program Design: Develop and implement a comprehensive youth digital skills program, covering areas like digital literacy, coding, online safety, and the use of technology in solving real-world problems.
- Content Creation: Create high-quality educational content, including lesson plans, training materials, multimedia resources, and assessment tools focused on digital skills.
- Innovative Practices: Incorporate cutting-edge technologies and innovative pedagogical approaches to enhance the teaching and learning of digital skills.
❖ Assessment and Evaluation:
- Develop Assessment Tools: Create tools and methods to evaluate the effectiveness of digital skills programs and measure student progress.
- Analyze Data: Assess feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and adapt the programs accordingly.
❖ Collaboration and Partnerships:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with management, government agencies, and private sector partners for project engagement.
❖ Research and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in digital skills education and related fields.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update program content to ensure it remains relevant, effective, and impactful.
❖ Documentation and Reporting:
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of program materials, training sessions, and assessment outcomes.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on program progress, impact, and areas for development.
❖ Desired Candidate Profile/ Required Experience & Qualifications:
❖ Educational Background:
- Master’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
❖ Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in digital skills education, program development, or a related area focusing on youth.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing digital skills programs for students.
- Experience in creating and utilizing digital and multimedia content for educational purposes.
❖ Skills:
- Strong expertise in digital literacy and related topics.
- Excellent curriculum development and instructional design skills.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in creating and utilizing multimedia educational content.
- Ability to analyze data and use it to inform program improvements.
- Strong collaboration and partnership-building skills.
