Job Description/Requirements
Mahathi Infra is seeking a dynamic and experienced Solar Business Head to lead our operations in Uganda. This is a unique opportunity to drive the growth of sustainable energy solutions in East Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies for solar energy operations
- Oversee implementation and installation of a 50MW solar power project
- Manage end-to-end solar energy projects, from planning to optimization
- Liaise with Ugandan government bodies and regulatory authorities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of solar energy professionals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8-15 years of experience in the solar industry
- Proven track record in leading solar energy projects and teams
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel within Uganda and internationally
