Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Project Coordination – Collaborates with stakeholders to manage schedules, budgets, and resources.

• Documentation Management – Prepares and reviews contracts, reports, and technical documents.

• Quality Control – Ensures adherence to design specifications and standards.

• Problem Solving – Addresses technical issues and provides solutions to maintain project progress.

• Compliance Monitoring – Ensures regulatory and safety standards are met.

• Team Support – Guides junior engineers and supports project teams with technical expertise.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• 10+ years of general experience, with at least 8 years in contract administration, estimation, and monitoring.

• Knowledge of FIDIC standards, strong communication, and quick responsiveness.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with knowledge of information technology.


Technical Skills:

• Project Scheduling & Planning – Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.

• Construction Documentation – Ability to prepare and review contracts, blueprints, RFIs, and submittals.

• Cost Estimation & Budgeting – Expertise in quantity take-offs, BOQs, and financial forecasting.

• Quality Control & Assurance – Understanding of construction standards and inspection procedures.

• AutoCAD & BIM Software – Skilled in drafting and 3D modeling for design coordination.



Additional Skills:

• Structural & Civil Engineering Knowledge – Competence in materials, methods, and codes.

• Risk Assessment & Management – Ability to identify potential project risks and mitigation strategies.

• Procurement & Supply Chain Management – Managing material orders, vendor coordination, and logistics.

• Site Coordination & Supervision – Handling field reports, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance.

• Regulatory & Safety Standards – Familiarity with OSHA, local building codes, and environmental policies.


Reporting Structure:

The Senior Office engineer will report directly to the Operation manager and collaborate closely with general staff/ employees and other members of the company’s team.
