Responsibilities:

• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential secondary schools in Uganda with canteens and understand their condiment needs and preferences.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to promote and sell Shake condiments to canteens in secondary schools.
• Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with canteen managers, caterers, and decision-makers in secondary schools, demonstrating the value and benefits of Shake condiments.
• Product Presentations: Conduct engaging and persuasive presentations to showcase the features, flavors, and versatility of Shake condiments, highlighting how they can enrich school meals.
• Sales Generation: Identify sales opportunities, generate leads, and proactively approach canteens to secure new accounts and expand the presence of Shake condiments in secondary schools.
• Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives by effectively managing the sales pipeline, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
• Customer Support: Provide excellent customer support and address inquiries, concerns, or issues raised by canteens, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Market Trends: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to food condiments in the school canteen segment, providing insights and recommendations to the team.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback, reporting regularly on sales performance and market insights.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in sales, preferably in the food industry or FMCG sector.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and engage with canteen managers and decision-makers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills to effectively showcase Shake condiments and secure sales deals.
• Knowledge of the secondary school market in Uganda and familiarity with the school canteen environment is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to different secondary schools within Uganda as required.
