Job Description/Requirements
The Role
We are seeking an inspiring and accomplished Sales Development Representative to be the first member of our sales outreach team. Sales Development is mission-critical to any successful B2B go-to-market engine. You’ll be the first hire to help strategize and implement best practices to help refine Sidecar’s outbound processes.
You’ll be able to help make an immediate impact on the business and play a critical part in helping the company deliver on our revenue goals. As an early sales team member, you’ll also have the opportunity to grow into a future seller and leader within the organization.

What You’ll Do:
- Work alongside co-founders as equal thought partners to build out top of funnel
- Conduct daily activities, including:
- Pre-call research and planning
- Conduct significant outbound calls and outbound written outreach per day to potential customers (senior leaders at private equity & corporate venture capital funds)
- Schedule discovery meetings to further assess a prospect's potential fit with Sidecar.
- Follow-up with previous contacts (nurturing leads)
- Maintain CRM records
- Help build and improve our SDR processes and build our outbound playbook for future SDR hires
- Manage multiple sales campaigns simultaneously and take a data/metric-driven approach to iterating on what’s working / what’s not
- Have the autonomy to operate beyond your role and help the team improve our process, training, use of technology, and any other aspects of our business. This role is a starter role. Once you’ve proven success you can graduate to Sales, Customer Success / Sales Ops roles.
Requirements
- Seasoned SDR with experience in SaaS sales and/or Financial Services and ready to hit the ground running on Day 1
- Confidence and competence to create Sidecar’s Sales Development playbook; comfortable building out processes & systems for the first time
- Skilled at leveraging sales tech solutions to scale & optimize prospecting activities (Hubspot, LinkedIn, Apollo, etc.)
- At least 8 months of SDR experience

- You are adaptable / open to trying new scripts, approaches often given the level of experimentation we run at early stage startups
