Pump and maintain water levels in the tank and ensure regular water distribution in the University

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Certificate in plumbing or an equivalent certificate in Mechanical Engineering;

• Monitor water levels in the tank to determine amount of water to be pumped to maintain specific levels of water for distribution to the entire University;
  
• Clean water tanks and remove algae and other physical impurities from the tanks;
  
• Operate the University generator to pump water into the tank;
  
• Report any mechanical faults on the water pump and generator to the supervisor;
  
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
