Job Summary:
As a Remote Medical Engagement Associate at Clientelis Afrique, you will play a crucial role in informing and educating healthcare professionals on treatment guidelines and cost-effective medicines available in the country. Your efforts will enhance access to medicines in target geographies. As a Medical Engagement Associate, you’ll interact with healthcare professionals, helping them to make important decisions that can ultimately save patients’ lives.
Our ultimate vision is to build a pan-African community of healthcare professionals and community health workers by blending digital engagement and hybrid events to elevate continuous medical education and professional standards on the continent.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Engagement Associate at the startup Clientelis Afrique, you will conduct engagement campaigns with healthcare professionals and community health workers, on behalf of our clients, biopharmaceutical manufacturers, and global health players.
The role integrates to build a healthcare professional database from scratch with their contact details including their cellphone numbers and email addresses.
1. Build and maintain an accurate database of healthcare professionals as well as of registered drugs.
2. Inform doctors and pharmacists about new products and educate Community healthcare workers and disease-specific NGOs on treatment pathways and guidelines.

As a Medical Engagement Associate, you will be promoting exceptional cost-effective products as well as delivering medical education using your specialist marketing skills to provide the right outcomes.
- Building and maintaining a database of healthcare professionals’ contact details including cell phone numbers and email addresses in Senegal and sub-region.
- Promoting and detailing new drugs to physicians and pharmacists remotely.
- Conduct meetings with customers by telephone and online using e-detailing systems.
- Follow up on appointments made by call agents to healthcare professionals.
- Interpret the latest clinical data for your clients.
- Delivering Medical Information to Community Health Workers.
- Tracking and Reporting activities of Remote Engagement Operations.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators and engagement targets both on qualitative and quantitative criteria.
To apply, you must have:
Suitable candidates would have excellent retail pharmacy and/or virtual sales experience, great communication skills, excellent customer service, and presentation skills.
- Master’s degree or Doctorate in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Bi-lingual: Excellent written and verbal level of English and French
- Digital skills
