Job Summary
The Recovery officer will be responsible for enforcing the complete repayment of all non-performing loans and impounding vehicles from defaulting clients.

Job Description/Requirements
Duty Station: Jinja, Gulu, Fort Portal
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Calling Asaak’s clients and encouraging them to repay their loans.
- Monitoring loan payments.
- Ensuring that the set targets on bad debt recoveries are met.
- Monitoring tracking devices in clients’ motorbikes and reporting suspicious behavior (including nights and weekends as needed).
- Impounding vehicles from defaulting clients.
- Conduct field visits associated with recoveries and compliance.
- Managing assigned loan portfolio.
- Taking individual action as per policy to recover delinquent loans, and any other duty as may be assigned.
Qualifications and specifications:
- Must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in microfinance or any related field
- Must possess excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to function under pressure.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have high levels of personal and professional integrity
- Must be able and willing to ride a motorcycle and possess a valid riding license with Class A
- Fluency in English and Luganda is an added advantage
