Job Description/Requirements
We are seeking for a Quality , /environment, /Health & Safety Manager. Reporting to Head of Compliance.
The objective of this role is to develop and implement policies, procedures, SOPs and systems to promote compliance with relevant QEHS
standards in accordance with the company mandate & country regulations.
Education Qualification & Experiences:
Occupational Health & Safety and other related discipline.
In depth Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 140001 Standards, Occupational Health & safety regulations, and
A Bachelor’s degree’ of science in Environmental Management, Technology in Chemistry, Engineering,
Standards
Professional certification i.e. Certified Quality Auditor, Certified safety professional is desired.
5 year’s working experience in a similar role in a large company
Skills / competencies:
Result oriented, Communication skills , Interpersonal skills, Ability to lead and motivate team,
Work environment:
Travel outside of office is required with respect to making site visits and workshops.
The job holder is not subject to work that is physically demanding and is generally not exposed to any
hazards as a direct consequence of the job.
The job holder is on call and may be required to work overtime and weekends.
1.Develop and Implement
tools and mechanisms for monitoring and assessing manufacturing processes on the environment in
accordance with ISO 14001 standards.
2.Provide information on
best practices related to environmental issues within the company manufacturing
operations and processes.
3.Review and update
company’s quality management systems to ensure compliance with the country regulations including
international standards like the ISO 9001 standards.
4.Initiate the reviews and
documentations of the internal audit processes in accordance with the audit framework and guidelines
5.Develop, maintain, and
implement the health and safety system in accordance with the relevant
legislations &
regulations.
6.Plan and monitor
implementation of safety audits and inspections to Identify & assess
potential hazards in the workplace and suggest control measures for
implementation.
7.Monitor and conduct
research on changes applicable to QEHS regulations and standards.
8.Prepare,
discuss, and submit reports to regulatory bodies and other relevant
stakeholders.
