GRAIN QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST

• Develop and implement quality assurance systems and procedures.
• Establish and maintain quality standards for maize grain.
• Ensure that quality control aspects of the grain are followed throughout the production process.
• Manage and coordinate training programs for employees on quality control procedures.
• Review and report on the causes of quality loss and non-conformance.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Manage and coordinate quality assurance projects.

Compliance and Regulation:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards.
• Maintain the corporate quality manual and quality records.

Budget and Resources:

• Manage the quality assurance budget.
• Identify and utilize resources to support quality assurance efforts.

Problem Solving and Improvement:

• Review and analyze quality complaints and non-conformance issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address the underlying causes of quality issues.
• Implement corrective and preventative actions to improve quality.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work with other departments, such as operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure quality standards are met.
• Communicate quality issues and solutions to relevant stakeholders.

Other Responsibilities:

• Assist in new product development and sourcing.
• Participate in crisis situations related to quality issues.
• Handle complaints of a repetitive nature, seeking permanent solutions.
