Job Description Inputi is an agro digital marketplace that leverages technology to aggregate demand and supply of genuine farm inputs by farmers and dealers, respectively. After aggregating, Inputi implements a last mile delivery to farms through an integrated digital marketplace across Uganda.Purpose The Project and Grants Manager is responsible for end to end management & adherence to project and grant guidelines and monitoring, documentation of impact and will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.Requirements • Strong project management skills to plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate projects effectively.• Ability to develop project plans, set objectives, and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success.• In-depth knowledge of grant management principles and practices.• Experience in creating project timelines, allocating resources, and managing project budgets.• Ability to identify funding opportunities, develop grant proposals, and submit applications to relevant donors or funding agencies. Familiarity with donor requirements and the ability to ensure adherence to grant guide- lines and reporting obligations.• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with funding organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders in the agriculture sector.• Strong analytical skills to assess project viability, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.• Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.• Ability to analyze project data, evaluate outcomes, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.Education• Bachelor’s Degree in Projects Management, Certifications like PMP, Monitoring and Evaluation are an added advantageExperience• Proven experience in managing projects and grants, preferably in the agricultural or agritech sector. Familiarity with the Ugandan agricultural landscape and related challenges would be advantageous.
