Professional Development for Emerging Talent

PROGRAM SUMMARY
ASPIRE is an initiative of Catholic Relief Services (CRS) that seeks to build local talent in the international relief and development field. Through this program, CRS will recruit highly qualified individuals from six East African countries and champion their professional development through structured training, strong supervision and mentoring. While completing a comprehensive 12-month training plan, ASPIRE participants will hone their skills in five core areas and support critical programs. Upon successful completion, these professionals will have the opportunity to grow from entry-level positions to those of greater responsibility within CRS.

Project management
• Project design and development
• Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning
• Partnership and capacity strengthening
• Operations: Human Resources, Procurement, Finance

Participating Countries Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda

• Bachelor’s degree in related field conferred between Oct ‘21 – Oct ‘23
• 3 - 24 months of related work experience (paid, unpaid, internship)
• Strong English verbal and writing skills
• National of a participating country
