Job Description/Requirements
- Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods to the highest quality standards
- Design, develop, and update dessert and pastry menus in coordination with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage team
- Create seasonal and speciality items for events, promotions, and themed occasions
- Supervise and train pastry staff, ensuring proper techniques, efficiency, and teamwork in the pastry section
- Manage inventory, monitor ingredient freshness, and ensure cost-effective production with minimal wastage
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and strict hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen
- Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and aesthetic presentation of all pastry items
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery and presentation of desserts
- Innovate new recipes and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures
- Oversee pastry production for special functions such as weddings, banquets, and VIP events.
