Job Description/Requirements

  • Communication: Answering and directing phone calls, responding to emails, and providing information 
  • Scheduling: Organizing and scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements 
  • Document preparation: Creating, editing, and distributing correspondence, reports, and presentations 
  • Supplies: Ordering and maintaining office supplies 

Record keeping: Maintaining contact lists, minutes of meetings, and expense reports 

  • Equipment maintenance: Ensuring equipment is operating properly through preventive maintenance and repairs 
  • Workflow: Analyzing and refining standard operating procedures to maintain workflow 
  • Training: Providing information, educational opportunities, and training 
  • Research: Compiling data and statistics to support research 
  • Visitor support: Greeting visitors, providing general support, and directing them to the appropriate person
