Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Experts (2)

Overview

SITES is seeking for a highly skilled technical consultants to serve as Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Experts for an upcomimg evaluation.This evaluation will provide the USAID/Uganda Office of Health and HIV with information on the implementation, performance, and achievement of intended results for the LPHS activities to inform course correction and adaptations for the remaining performance periods of the Activities. The evaluation will inform the design of future interventions and activities that will contribute to achieving and sustaining HIV epidemic control in Uganda. 

Responsibilities

The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Expert will serve as a technical expert and will contribute to the inception report, data collection tools, and interviews to be conducted. The expert will also lead selected research assistants in one of the regional teams. The expert will also be responsible for the relevant analysis, synthesis, and writing of the relevant thematic sections of the report and subsequent presentations.

Qualifications

Undergraduate qualifications in Statistics, or related field with a Masterâs in Public Health. Experience of 5-10 years in Monitoring, Evaluation and learning in SubSaharan Africa. Knowledge of HIV/AIDS service delivery in the Uganda health care setting. Good understanding of the Ugandan HMIS and population-based surveys such as Lot Quality Assurance Sampling and the Uganda Demographic and Health Survey. Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods. Strong report writing skills to effectively communicate evaluation findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas and recommendations clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally. Understanding of ethical considerations related to research and evaluation, including informed consent and data privacy.
